GRAHAM WILSON who played in
the highly successful U-16s around the year 2000 sent us this message in April
2011: I
have found myself a lovely little club not too dissimilar to Shireshead called
Woodmansterne: http://woodmansterne.play-cricket.com/home/home.asp
We are located in the Surrey belt and play in a combination
of the Fullers league 1st XI (feeder league to the Surrey Championship) and
also the Surrey Championship which the 2nd XI were promoted to last year. I
mainly ply my trade in the 2nd XI however I do play smattering of 1st XI games
each year. Last year for me was very frustrating having suffered a serious knee
injury in January for which I missed the first 2 months of the season and then
once I got going I missed the last month of the season with a broken foot!
